Snow Day Couples Session
It's rare to get a foot of snow in Arkansas. When you do, you go play.
When our local news station starts preparing us for a snow storm, I immediately start thinking about who might want to get out in it and take some photos. A snow session is SO rare for us in Arkansas. We are lucky to get a dusting of snow once a year.
In January 2023, we got hit we two weeks of winter weather in the Ozarks! The first week was a foot of snow across our area. The next week we got hit with a sheet of ice. We definitely prefer the snow. I mean, look how amazing the photos turn out!
Justin and Dania are two adventurous souls and were so excited for the opportunity to take their Subaru on a proper adventure. I had actually lost power at my house on this day because the snow that fell was so heavy and wet! I was excited to venture out of my home for an hour to go take some magical photos.
The neat thing about a snow storm like this is that any place you see looks brand new. That field over by your house that never caught you eye is all of a sudden a winter wonderland. A dream location!
I love how spontaneous this session was. From frolicking around in a field to snowball fights, we were able to catch it all in just under an hour! I absolutely loved getting out in the snow and creating some magical couples photos! 10/10 would DEFINITLEY do it again.
