Rock Climbing Engagement Session -Hudson Mountain, AR

Photography AND rock climbing? Sign. Me. UP!
I met Patrick and Megan through rock climbing a few years ago. When Megan reached out about doing a rock climbing engagement session, I was STOKED. My two favorite things in the world-- climbing and photography.

When scheming up the game plan for Megan’s engagement session, we decided on late October to try and hit the peak fall foliage in Arkansas. It can sometimes be hard to predict, but we nailed it this time! Hudson Mountain is near Deer and Mount Judea (pronounced like Judy). The area is about an hour outside of Harrison, Arkansas. Hudson Mountain has a really cool history. It’s amazing to think about the natives who actually lived around these rock formations.

I am a photographer, not a rock-climbing guide. Patrick was a rock climbing guide at Horseshoe Canyon Ranch and so with his knowledge and skills, we were able to make these awesome photos a reality!
